Dear Parents,

 

Sr. Sheila Conley, Associate Superintendent, Diocese of Metuchen visited yesterday.

She spoke to staff, teachers, students and parents. Everyone was happy to visit with Sister to share her thoughts on education.

I hope our parents found the conferences helpful in understanding their child’s progress.

The teachers consistently assess and reassess to discover the direction best for each child.

They gain insights that they shared with parents. If you were unable to attend at the scheduled time please contact the teacher to schedule a conference.

Our morning carline helpers request that the first car in line please pull up to the end of the sidewalk. This allows many more cars to unload their passengers. This is the same procedure that is used at dismissal for the same reason.

We are very happy with our new school clocks. We are finally all synchronized. The new clocks are kept synchronized by the connection to a cell tower. A mild tone was added to our PA system that signals the school schedule. A few clocks will arrive shortly to complete the Early Education Building. The MPR clocks will be installed as soon as the wire covering arrives. The covering protects the clock from damage.

Interested in a used school clock? We have 20 black battery operated school clocks. They would be perfect for the laundry room, basement, garage, out building etc. If you would like a clock please send a note to the school office addressed to Mr. Kielce. We will send it home with your child.

 Brian Martin, ICC Business Manager gave financial presentations on Nov.6, 10, 11 and 12 . There will be another presentation on December 6th at 11:15 in the MPR. Brian’s meetings are intended to communicate Parish financials and the planned giving campaign to the Parish and School families. If you missed previous presentations please attend the presentation on Dec. 4 if so you may be fully informed. Discussion is both helpful and encouraged.
